I think this is a sort of love it or hate it type of plant. It is a succulent and so distinct in it’s color and silhouette. This plant adds an interesting element to a garden area. And it is of course low water use.

Best Feature:  unique color and pattern to plant, evergreen, low maintenance, low water

From :  Africa

Preferable Places : Sunset Zones 13, 23, 24, H1, H2;  USDA Zones 9a-11, can also be grown as an indoor plant

Looks :  4-6 feet tall and 3-4 wide

Personality :  easy going, evergreen, narrow, stiff colorful branches, looks good planted in masses but can also stand alone, makes a good container plant

Likes :  full sun, dry areas, well-drained soil

Issues : milky sap can cause damage to eyes
