I heart my new Itouch

My husband surprised me with an itouch for Christmas. And I was surprised. We set a small limit for gifts, since I currently have no job, but he put some money aside to get me a great gift. So sweet. And it is very cool.

Music is something I love and I previously had a 4 GB ipod which was full a week after I got it. I had been wanting a bigger one for a couple of years. All I wanted was an ipod and this itouch is 64 GB so that alone is amazing. A small step up from my old one.

But the other features I love are the notepad and the tracking (free apps). I use so much less paper than I did, which is I would not have expected. So that makes for a little more sustainable and organized day for me. I am a list person. I would write lists and notes on small pieces of paper and stick them into the abyss that is my purse. When it was time to clean out my bag, there would be so much paper in there. And a lot of “Oh, that’s where that went”.  That is now cut down pretty significantly.

I use my new toy to track our budget, track calories and carry around all the photos I want. They are pricey but the are so many features- I’m sure there are a lot more apps I will discover and love in the future. It was included in a list of things to have  for toddlers on Mighty Girl. Good justification for Moms.

The internet can be accessed – I have it set up to access my email, update this blog, twitter and facebook. The only drawback is that there has to be wifi access to go online.  This is not an issue with the iphone, but I also don’t pay for a data plan.

Any cool app suggestions?
